Account, plans, and billing

Understand workspace ownership, plan limits, billing contacts, and subscription changes.

Your plan is held at the account level and applies across everything inside it. Knowing which limits are counted per account and which are counted per workspace makes the tiers easy to reason about.

Know what each plan includes

Free covers one workspace, one group per workspace, three projects, two seats, and two guests, with no automations. Studio adds three workspaces, three groups per workspace, unlimited projects and seats, unlimited free guests, and five automations per workspace, along with approvals, the branded portal, intake forms, and the report builder. Agency raises this to ten workspaces and groups, twenty-five automations with scheduling, backups and restore, and approval analytics. Scale removes the ceilings and adds the security and integration controls.

Understand how limits are counted

Seats, workspaces, and projects are counted across the whole account. Groups and automations are counted per workspace. Guests are never counted as seats and are free and unlimited on every paid plan, which is usually the largest practical difference from other tools.

Change plans safely

Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades never delete anything: if you end up over a limit, the excess simply becomes read-only until you either upgrade again or reduce it yourself. You can still rename, reorder, and remove items while over a limit, so a downgrade cannot strand your data.

Know who holds the account

The Owner role holds account-level authority, including workspace deletion and restore and promoting another owner. Keep at least two people who can act on the account, so access does not depend on one person being available.

Ask about upgrades and discounts

Billing is handled directly at the moment rather than through self-serve checkout, so contact us to move between plans. If you are a nonprofit or an early-stage team, say so when you get in touch, as those are considered case by case.

Worth remembering

  • Seats are internal people only. Clients are guests and stay free on paid plans.
  • Going over a limit is never destructive, so a downgrade is reversible.
  • Annual billing gives two months free compared with paying monthly.
Questions

One internal teammate: an Owner, Admin, Manager, or Member. Guests are excluded.

Nothing is deleted. The items over the limit become read-only and you are prompted to upgrade or reduce.
