Using the Trellis client portal

See shared projects, deliverables, progress, and decisions without internal workspace clutter.

Your portal shows the work your agency is doing for you, and nothing else. This is a short tour of what you will find and how to use it.

Open the invitation you were sent

Your invitation link is personal to you and creates your access the first time you use it. If it has expired, ask your agency contact to send a new one rather than sharing someone else's link.

Find the projects shared with you

You will see only the projects your agency has shared. If a project you expected is missing, it has not been shared yet, which is a quick thing for your contact to change.

Check progress without asking for an update

Each project shows what is in progress, what is finished, and what is waiting. This is live rather than a weekly summary, so checking here is usually faster than sending an email.

See what is waiting on you

Anything needing your decision is marked clearly. This is the most useful part of the portal, because work that waits on a client decision is the most common cause of a deadline slipping.

Respond in the portal rather than by email

Comments and decisions you make here stay attached to the work they refer to. Feedback sent by email has to be copied across by somebody, and that is where detail gets lost.

What success looks like

  • You can see the current state of your projects, know what is waiting on you, and respond in the place where the work lives.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Sending feedback by email, which separates your comments from the work they describe.
  • Sharing your invitation link with a colleague instead of asking for one for them.
  • Waiting for a weekly update when the portal already shows the current position.
